Expand Control Programmatically

   I need a way to expand a Control Popup on a xtpControlPopup on one of my normal Commandbars programmatically and not only with a mouseclick. It seems that all I can do is calling the ShowPopup method of the Commandbar to display it somewhere on the Screen but not as Menu of the corresponding Control. 
Does anyone know how to do this?
