Hi, We have purchased xtreme suite pro and would like to know how to distribute it to clients. The usual process for any activex control is to create a lpk file for the activex control and to provide the path in the code base attriute of the object tag for the activex control. The code base attribute can point to either the ocx or cab file. The main criteria is that the ocx file shoule have authenticode signature which will ensure that the control is safe for scripting. This ensures that the control gets downloaded automatically in the client machine. We have tried to do the same with calendar control, but unless the options "Download Unsigned Activex controls" and "Initialize and script activex controls not marked as safe" are enabled in the browser, the control does not get automatically downloaded. Enabling this for each and every client is not feasible and more over it is a security risk to enable those options. So how can the control be distributed easily? |

Hello, In 9.80 was added implementing Safety for Script category. You can move control to cab and sign this cab... |
