I just upgraded from version 8.70 to 9.70 of the pro library, and ended up with a couple of hunderd errors.

Why?  Why can't a simple library like this be backward compatible.  Why do constant names have to be change?  Why do static methods need to disappear?  What do classes need to be dissolved (What happened to CXTPItemConstraints?)

Very annoyed

Ali

I believe that we all faced this challenge. But even it is a lot of changes; the time to correct is maybe one day or less. And I think that they even provide some conversion headers?

And it is always a good thing to do some refactoring once in a while. And believe me, it is worth spending the time. This is the most intuitive and stabile framework I have ever worked with.
