For example, in my app, I have a toolbar who has enabled customization. But in a later version, I decide not to allow users to customize it. Then the problem will appear. For users who used old version, this toolbar will always use it's old state. I found no way to let it use new state except for deleting the whole config file. Any suggestion? Best Jeff |

Sure. But all user customizations will be lost. It's the same as delete the config file, isn't ?

You could always use a another name parameter for "Load" and "SaveCommandbars" in your newer version of the application, right?

Yes it is, but I was under the impression that it was ok to do that since your first post implied deleting the file works for you. How about just changing the ID of the controlbar in question? You'll lose customization only on that one. |
