Alphabetic shortcut is not working on Report Column with Combobox - C#.NET

My product is using Xtreme report control (Codejock.ReportControl.Unicode.v11.2.0.ocx) in an outlook Addin. Recently , we have migrated from VB to c#.NET and since then the items in the ReportColumn are not responding to the alphabetic shortcuts.

The same issue is reproducible in the code samples provided with the latest Xtreme SuitePro ActiveX v16.4.0
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Steps to replicate the issue
1. Compile and run the Reportsample that comes with Codejock.SuitePro.ActiveX.Eval.16.4.0 (\Samples\ReportControl\C#.NET\ReportSample)
2. Pick Additional Samples -> Properties Test from the menu
3. Double click on values column to popup the dropdown and then try to select item by keyboard shortcut with first letter of the item

It is observed that the shortcuts are working fine with the VB sample (Samples\ReportControl\VB\ReportSample)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It seems that the keyboard shortcuts are disabled when the control is hosted in a managed application. Embarrassed

Is it a known issueQuestion   Is there any fix available Question  Or is there any workaround Question
