Hi;
Could you please change the return type of CXTPReportControl::AddRecordEx() from
to
and return the newly created row! Searching for the row(s) is no real option when considering performance (CXTPReportRows::Find(CXTPReportRecord*) uses a linear search to find the record. Inserting four records in a collection of 1000 rows results in worst case in 4000 compare operations). This enhancement would ease the task of selecting rows that are inserted into the control using that way without any additional search run. I don't want to duplicate the code of AddRecordEx() to get the same result. |
