I have an MDI app using XTP 13.10, and the frame window is somehow clamped to the max size of the monitor is originally displays on (if it starts on video 1 set to 1920x2000, then it's impossible to stretch any wider than 1920. if it starts on a 1240x1024, then it won't get any bigger than 1240 wide).
I have tried changing the (cs.cx,cx.cy,cs.x,cs.z) values in PreCreateWindow(), but those only seem to apply to the original location. It aggravates my users - and me.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
- David
PS: Here's my PreCreateWindow:
BOOL CMainFrame::PreCreateWindow(CREATESTRUCT& cs){ if( !CMDIFrameWnd::PreCreateWindow(cs) ) return FALSE; cs.lpszClass = _T("XTPMainFrame"); CXTPDrawHelpers::RegisterWndClass(AfxGetInstanceHandle(), cs.lpszClass, CS_DBLCLKS, AfxGetApp()->LoadIcon(IDR_MAINFRAME)); cs.style |= WS_CLIPCHILDREN|WS_CLIPSIBLINGS; return TRUE;} |

It doesn't happen with any of the samples; I think it's something in my app. do you have an MSDN KB article reference? If it's an OS restriction and it doesn't happen to all apps, then there's a workaround somewhere.
