My Icon is in a file distributed with the software.

It contains both 256 colors (8bits) and RVB/A (32 bits) formats (sizes = 16,32,48,128,256).

I set the icon via a function like this (using api) :

 

    Dim hIcon As Long
    hIcon = LoadImage(0&, IconPath, IMAGE_ICON, 16, 16, LR_LOADFROMFILE)

    If hIcon <> 0 Then
       Call SendMessage(hWnd, WM_SETICON, 0, ByVal hIcon)
    End If

 

Why does it works in 13.2.0 and not in 13.2.1 ?

Windows 7 is a great OS, and definately worth upgrading.

 

I feel guilty I am selling my Signature Edition of Windows 7 Ultimate, but I already have a valid license so dont need it lol.  Else I would have kept that one also.

 

We would have liked the file menu changed but I think CodeJock maybe thinking more like Office 2010, Windows 7 File Menu is nothing like Office 2010 and is very similar just cosmetically different.  I really do believe they should also add.

1. Window Title needs left aligning with a divider on Scenic

2. File menu is slightly different on Windows 7 Scenic

 

I can provide screenshots if you would like, and check into this in more detail.

 

 

Perfect as I'd rather have stable libraries for use in our products.  Look forward to testing next build.

 

 

Oh and please make the progress bars compatible with Windows 7's task bar with a flag.  As this would be a great option.

I cant wait for release either but would prefer all these issues fixed first so that when we update our range of products to use the newer build we are happy our customers will not experience issues.

Also any news anybody on the GUI (windows 7) changes that really need to happen for 13.2 release

 

 

1. the new file menu (windows 7 style) button if you click it, then click anywhere for the file menu to lose focus there is a slight flicker of the light blue colour

2. Please see below image (1.png) comparison between Paint (Windows 7) and Ribbon SDI new file menu (as the images in Windows 7 look slightly nicer as there is a pixel gap at top and no gap to left, while XTP has gap at left but no gap at top???, any chance this can be fixed please)

Selection is better ! No problem for me.

This has nothing to do with selection but in the second sample, did you try to activate the "Wysiwyg" mode (menu "Report Control" / "Wysiwyg print mode") and then call print preview ?

Sounds good to me, as we currently done skin our applications, but do use Ribbons.  Any screenshots of what skinframework ribbon apps look like :)
