This is a simple question and I think I know the answer based on a quick view of the source. It looks like the panes and the associated memory allocated created by the pane manager via a call to CreatePane are freed by CXTPDockingPaneLayout. Is this correct?
Thanks

   Hi,

Yes CreatePane  creates Panes and Containers for Panes. associated memmory can be created anywhere.
CXTPDockingPaneLayout call pPane->DeletePane() when pane have to be destroyed.
