Topic: Filter for Report ControlPosted: 14 January 2005 at 2:18am |

Hi, How do I enable the filter functionality for the Report Control? In the downloadable ReportSample.exe, if you go to "Report Control > Filter window" it will open a small "Filter text" window. If you type in a couple of letters it will only display those records that match the filter. I cannot find how to enable this functionality in ActiveX v9.51... Is it coded manually in the sample? Or is the filter just not available yet in the ActiveX version? Thanks |

Here's an obvious follow-up question... can this be added to the ActiveX version?

I am happy to report that there is a new FilterText property for the Report Control in version 9.60. Thanks for implementing this. There is a detailed entry in the Help file, but this new feature is not listed in the Release Notes. Just an FYI! |

This is a great new feature. Any reason it wasn't listed in the 'What's New' document? Are there any other undocumented new features out there?
