I submited this to support a couple days ago, has of yet it's still unaswered, so I decided to try it here, see if I can speed things up...

SUPPORT REQUEST:

I recently, a couple of days ago, adquired the Xtreme Skin Framework Bundle ActiveX 2007 Vol 2 (11.2.2), with wich I am quite satisfied.

It works well, but I do have a problem.

You see I am using this under Alaska XBase++, so I get no enumerators whatsoever.

Even though so far I've managed to get them to work, I can't, for instance, figure out the value that goes with xtpFlagStretched for the EnableDocking method.

My question therefore is, do you have some file with all the defines for this two controls . (Skinframework + CommandBars)

Thank you for any help you can provide.
Best Regards,
Paulo Gaita

Hi,

Thanks for the fast reply.

Well, I am sorry to hear that, guess I should have messed with it a bit more before I bought it.

You don't use a standard way of licensing, meaning I can't pass the license information directly to the control, like I hould, and your special licensing object isn't working for me, at least not yet, hopefully I'll still be able to find an answer to it.

And now this. Without this some configuration options are closed to me. And the worst of it is, you had to code this in, so you do have them. You must have a list of these somewhere, along with the values that go with them. I guess it would mean a bit of trouble to round them up and send them over. Even though I only need those that don't follow a sequencial value, I have already found out that many of them do just that. Some however can be added together (ORed) so I guess they're probably binary sequences, but they don't follow the order in wich they get listed in the help files and that makes it dificult to guess wich wich.

I'll keep the trial and error going.

Starting to think this was really a very bad choice on my part.

Again, thanks for the prompt reply.

Best wishes,
Paulo Gaita

Follow up...

I just got an email from Support, it seams you did have it after all, or at least something that I can work with!

Thank you so very much, your a lifesaver.

I am a bit sorry for my earlier rant, by I am getting quite some pressure to show results and prove to my superiors that my choice of control wasn't the wrong one, some still think it was, and the inability to distribute it is making them lean on me like there's no tomorrow, so when I read your post here, I went a bit ballistic.

Thanks very much, I am going to extract the information I need from what you gave me and build the apropriate defines.

Best wishes,

Paulo Gaita
