    Posted: 25 March 2009 at 12:14am
I have a SDI Application created using Visual Studio 2008 & my Xtreme Toolkit Pro v12.0.0.

In my SDI Application i added a dialog derived from  CXTResizeDialog. In my IDR_MainFrame i inserted
a menu. On Click of the Menu i invoked my dialog using DoModal() function.

When tested the application it worked fine until i added an RichEditControl to my dialog. After adding
RichEditControl to my dialog it is not displaying the dialog on DoModal().

Note:
I tried adding other controls like Button & Static controls it doesn't give any problems. But only when
i add an RichEditControl it fails miserably on  CreateDialogIndirect() function in DoModal().

Thanks in Advance for your help.

Are you calling AfxInitRichEdit() (for v1 rich edit control) or AfxInitRichEdit2() (for vv2)?
Product: Xtreme Toolkit Pro version 13.2 (Unicode, static build)

Platform: Windows 200x/XP/Vista/Win7 (32/64 bit)

Language: Visual C++ 9.0 (Studio 2008)

Thanks for the reply. I found that to be the issue in my case also.
