I'm using a quite old Xtreme toolkit (version 4.0.0.0). It does work seemlessly with VS2005-generated code, but in ocxs the buttons are just eating the click messages - nothing happens. I did a workaround - copied some the CXTButton code to my derived class, that calls CButton methods directly - this way it works.
Note that the problem occurs with XP SP2 (no VS installed!), it's fine on Vista. Any ideas (except upgrading ;-)) ? TIA |

I understand that it doesn't but in fact it does in most cases - it's just the ocxs that need some kind of workaround. Any clues why the ocxs? Dlls and exes are fine.

I'd say that he should be allowed to upload the source here for historical reasons I would even suggest to Kirk that older versions should be released for free. Version 9.81 might be a good idea. Maybe even with a reduced feature set (CommandBar, Property grid, Docking pane only). What's in for Codejock? First, I don't think Codejock would lose any sales. Many developers would be happy with this components and some of them might later buy the latestet and greatest version. |
