CommandBars::DoPropExchange failure

   How do I detect a failure in DoPropExchange since the function is declared as a void? I am finding that lower level routines it calls can fail (a CArchiveException is eventually thrown and caught in CXTPCommandBars::LoadCommandBarList so my ribbon fails to load from my xml file). LoadCommandBarList returns FALSE and then CXTPCommandBars exits but there is not return code since it is a void. So I have no way to catch the exception or detect the error.
