When I try to build the libraries for VS2008 the command winodw flashes by and an error box appears providing no useful information. I can build the libraries for VS2003 and VS2005 with no problems.

I can, however,  build the libraries for VS2008 using VS2008 and the appropriate workspace. The problem seems to be running the build from a scirpt.

This looks like a bug in the deployment wizard.

Hello,

We use same bat file  for vc2002/2003/2005/2008. Think its something with not available memory.

This doesn't make a lot of sense. First of all I have 2 GB of RAM and I can build from the workspace. Since the command window flashes by I can't see if there is any error displayed. My guess is that the command line build environment is not being set up properly for VS2008. It looks like the path to vcvars32.bat is correct though.

I looked into this further and found that I couldn't run cl.exe from the command line. I got a message box saying that mspdb80.dll could not be found.

I tried a different system that has VS 2008 and found that everything worked. It appears I have a corrupt installation of VS 2008. I will try a reinstall/repair.

Funny that I could build from the workspace though.
