Any way to return EventID?

   I am trying to handle all calendar event creation outside of the standard tools, and I would like to return SPECIFICALLY the eventID (Autonumber / Identity) when I doubleclick on an event, so that I can use the event ID as a filter when loading a new form.

However, HitTest.ViewEvent has no way of returning the autonumber.

Any ideas?
